Alison has sung most of the standard oratorio repertoire for mezzo throughout the country in venues varying from parish churches to concert halls and cathedrals. Her most repeated repertoire includes Elgar's The Dream of Gerontius, Verdi Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah and Handel's Messiah. She has sung the Angel in Gerontius as far north as Aberdeen and as far south as Exeter and considers this to be one of her favourite works. She also has a love of Bach and has sung both the St John and St Matthew Passions and the Christmas Oratorio and B Minor Mass on many occasions.

She has been a guest soloist in gala concerts in venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, the Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Cadogan Hall, the Fairfield Hall, and St John's Smith Square.
She has sung with many famous orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Northern Sinfonia, the London Mozart Players, the English Chamber Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the OSJ.
One of her most enjoyable performances was as Mary in Berlioz's L'Enfance du Christ at Newcastle Cathedral with the Northern Sinfonia. Another particularly memorable performance was the premiere of Will Todd's "Gala and Gloria" at Durham Cathedral.
Recent engagements include Eternal Voices at Exeter Cathedral with Exeter Festival Chorus and the Band of the Royal Marines, Mahler 2 and Sea Pictures at Exeter Cathedral and Rossini Petite Messe Solonelle with Plymouth Philharmonic Choir.
Alison has also sung live on Radio 3's In Tune.
Alison is part of a recital duo with pianist Joyce Clarke with repertoire varying from Brahms, Schumann and Schubert lieder through french songs of Debussy, Faure and Poulenc to English Songs by Quilter, Ireland and Howells.
